🌟 Conjunction (समुच्चयबोधक अव्यय)

Conjunction वो शब्द होते हैं जो दो या दो से ज़्यादा शब्दों, वाक्यांशों या वाक्यों को जोड़ते हैं।

🔸 Types of Conjunctions (प्रकार)

👉 यह दो independent (बराबर वाले ) वाक्यों या शब्दों को जोड़ते हैं ।

And	और	Ali and Nasim are friends.
Nor	और नहीं / न तो	He didn’t go out, nor did he study.
But	लेकिन	I am poor, but honest.
Or	या	Do you want tea or coffee?
Yet	फिर भी	It was raining, yet he went out.
So	इसलिए	He was ill, so he stayed home.

👉 यह main clause और dependent clause को जोड़ते हैं।
(They connect a dependent clause with a main clause.)

Common words: because, although, since, when, while, if, unless, after, before, until, though, as, that

After	के बाद	After dinner, we went out.
Before	के पहले	Wash your hands before eating.
Until	तक	Wait here until I return.
Though	यद्यपि	Though he failed, he tried again.
As	जैसे कि / क्योंकि	Do as I say.
That	कि	I know that he is honest.

👉 यह हमेशा जोड़े (pair) में आते हैं (दो शब्द मिलकर जुड़ते हैं)।

Neither...nor	न तो...न ही	Neither he nor his brother came.
Both...and	दोनों...और	Both Ali and Nasim are here.
Not only...but also	न केवल...बल्कि	He is not only tall but also strong.
Whether...or	चाहे...या	I don’t know whether he came or not.

👉 यह adverbs होते हुए भी sentence को जोड़ते हैं।
Common: however, therefore, moreover, consequently, otherwise, nevertheless

Type	Jo karta hai	Example
Coordinating	बराबर के दो भाग जोड़ता है	I came and he went.
Subordinating	Main और dependent clause जोड़ता है	I stayed home because it rained.
Correlative	भाग(हिस्से)में जोड़ता है	Either come or stay.
Conjunctive Adverb	वाक्य जोड़ने के साथ ट्रांज़िशन बताता है	It rained; therefore, we stayed home.
